Took my boys here, we have a big family and they accommodated us all. The waitress was nice to the children and indulged them. The dishes were large and shareable. We will definitely be back.
Sunday evening went for a light dinner. Seat yourself and try not to freeze. Air conditioning was working overtime so we moved to a less breezy location. The food arrived quickly and had a good flavor. Otherwise an uneventful meal.
Order takeout during Friday lunch and the food was delicious! Thier egg rolls are always delicious. They must be made in house and not pre-made because they are so fat and the cabbage inside still has bite to it, like freshly cooked cabbage does. This place has been solid for at least a couple of decades. My wife and I always enjoy the food.
Great China is hands down the most consistently good Chinese restaurant in Beaumont — truly the go-to spot when you’re craving quality and flavor. Their egg rolls are on another level; not your average takeout rolls, but big, packed with shrimp and pork, and perfectly crispy. Pair them with their homemade hot mustard sauce, which is phenomenal, and you’ve got something special every single time. The house fried rice is another must-try. Even the small portion is generous, and the large is almost unimaginable in size — you’ll definitely have leftovers to enjoy later. The flavor is always spot-on, never greasy, and full of fresh ingredients. What really sets Great China apart is their consistency. Every time I’ve gone, the food has been fresh, hot, and delicious. You know exactly what you’re going to get — and that reliability makes them the best in town. If you’re looking for Chinese food in Beaumont, look no further than Great China.
I came here for the first time today. The staff is super kind and friendly. The wonton soup is by far the best I've ever had!!! Yall have to try it!! The orange chicken was too orange tasting for me.... The fried rice was plain tasting but I added soy sauce so that made it a bit better. Definitely should have gotten the giant bowl of the soup though!
Decided to try a new spot and a new dish. This Dish is called Chow Sen Sien and it quote delectable. The staff was very kind and the place is very quaint.
